Launched in 2025, the Emerging Leader of the Year Award is awarded to an individual emerging leader who has made significant contributions to the individual employer organization, the association, and/or the concrete pavement field broadly through exemplary leadership or technical expertise. An emerging leader is defined as either under the age of 40 years old or new to the concrete pavement industry with less than 3 years’ experience in a leadership role.

In 2025, during the Annual ACPA Conference, General Superintendent of Milestone, Rob Kish received the ACPA’s inaugural Emerging Leader of the Year Award, which recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to ACPA, their employer and the concrete pavement field through exemplary leadership or technical expertise.

Rob’s support of the ACPA’s Emerging Leaders Group (ELG) has helped foster a culture of mentorship and growth. His leadership, technical skills and commitment to fostering future talent exemplify the qualities that drive industry progress and ensure its continued success.
